Terms of use

By using MyVetRate, you agree to the terms below. If you don't agree with them, please don't use the site.

The service

MyVetRate is a free tool for estimating a combined VA disability rating and monthly compensation. MyVetRate is a privately owned website and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, the Department of Defense, or any government agency. For official information, visit VA.gov.

Not professional advice

Everything MyVetRate shows you is an unofficial estimate for information only. It is not legal, financial, or benefits advice, and your actual VA rating and payment are determined solely by the VA. Consider consulting an accredited Veterans Service Officer (free) or a VA-accredited attorney or claims agent about your specific claim.

Accuracy

MyVetRate's calculations follow the VA's published combining and bilateral factor rules, and its pay figures are sourced from VA.gov. Even so, MyVetRate makes no guarantee that any estimate is complete, current, or error-free, and you shouldn't rely on it as a substitute for your official VA decision.

Acceptable use

Please use MyVetRate the way it's intended: don't attempt to disrupt the site, scrape it at scale, or use it to submit false information on someone else's behalf.

Changes to these terms

MyVetRate may update these terms as the site changes. Continuing to use MyVetRate after an update means you accept the revised terms.
